I captured this moon shot this past summer with a Sony HDC-910 broadcast television camera and a Canon 75x (700mm) lens. This is one of my all time favorite shots that aired on national television during a Red Sox game.
I am now using DROPBOX for all file downloads. Click here to see them.

Holy crap that was cool!
Cool shot Tom!
wow looks like 2500mm not 700mm. Amazing vid.
700mm plus x2 optical extender. Box lenses are awesome
Very very cool! A guy could wait an entire lifetime for a chance opportunity like that…something has given some good nudges your way!
that’s crazy. I expected the plane to be much larger.
That was ridiculously good dude!
ridiculous. I wish I would have shots like that. well done!
Insane- You are damn lucky all the other photographers didn’t gang up and beat your ass for getting a shot like that! What the hell level do you aspire to after something like THAT ? If I had seen that plane flying through that shot through my monitor or view finder, I would have shit my pants in front of everyone and had to leave the stadium- NICE WORK, I HATE YOU!
holy moly, that was insane, looks like the moon is huge, pretty funny too think that the people on the plane just see the moon as small regular moon. but they have no idea that mr. Guilmette is filming them with the 700mm. look out for awesome shots mister plane
