Champney Falls is one of my favorite places to go as I explore and find adventure in New Hampshire. Located off the Kancamagus Highway (RT 112) in Albany, NH, the falls drop about thirty five feet in a narrow canyon. When I was younger, I climbed these granite walls. The cascade is about one hundred yards from the Champney Brook Trail on the way up to the summit of Mount Chocorua.
I shot this video with the Sony HDR-Z1U HDV camcorder in 1080i 60i and used a Vinten Vision 3 Tripod. I edited the project with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 in High Definition.
I shot this video the day after I closed on my land purchase in the mountains not far from these falls. This was my way of “celebrating”.
I hope you enjoy it. If you want more information on the location of this waterfall and the hike up Chocorua, please visit: hikenh.netfirms.com/TDChampF.htm
