“The Missing Link” Trailer – New England Mountain Biking Film 
This video is also available on Vimeo. Click Here to view it. I am working on a mountain biking film shot mostly in New Hampshire using high speed cameras. I was inspired by the guys at “Life Cycles” and their artistic style they bring to biking films. I have been granted the opportunity to use Fastec Imaging HiSpec high speed cameras and a Phantom HD GOLD to capture New England riding for an upcoming film called, “The Missing Link”. Nick Keating and I are currently in production on this film shooting at Highland Mountain Biking Park in Northfield, New Hampshire. I am also shooting at Attitash Mountain in Bartlett, New Hampshire. We are working with local riders on this project and hope to have it completed early 2011. More information to come, but check out the trailer at the top of this page. Awesome! Looks like you’ll have a full plate for the next four/five months. Looks to be a great project. Looking forward to the updates and finished product. Tear it up Tom!
Oh by the way… I had to wipe the drool off my chin when saw that one shot about midway where the dirt particles just seem to float in a vacuum as the rider moves off in the distance. Sweet shot!

Love the zooms in post, they give it a nice edge. well cut, amazing footage, love the dirt flying by out of focus. I’m envious that you shoot this kind of stuff.

Looks great Tom! I hope you’ll put the full video online! If you’re not booked you should check out the movie “Race Across the Sky” at a local theater on Nov 9th. It’s a mountain biking doc that they streamed from Colorado last night to theaters all over the country. They’re going to show it again on the 9th.
