WARNING: I am getting reports that when flying this thing around trees, you have no control of it. It is very easy to lose your camera so I must advise you practice in a field far away from objects like buildings or trees first. Dave and I made this look easy in the video blog [...] I spent 90 percent of my time in the Vinten Booth whilst at NAB for the first two days. I really enjoyed speaking with people about what I do for a living and the Vinten products I use everyday. I highly recommend Philip Bloom’s F-Stop Academy DSLR training DVDs if you own either a Canon 5dmk2 or a 7d. I have watched them both and Phil’s presentation is easy to follow. Phil is very passionate about anything television or film and after viewing these DVDs, it is obvious he put a lot of work [...] UPDATED 2/26/10: Red ONE RAW R3D Footage now ready for download at the bottom of the page. A lot of cameras can shoot “time lapse”, but few can shoot “time warp”. That is what the Discovery Channel people like to call it when using digital technology to slow down a high speed event and make the invisible, visible. UPDATE: EPIC storm coming this weekend!
