Sick footage man, I truly appreciate all the work you put into yourself. I have a SR-11 and I have the under-water housing for it as well. It makes for some neat shots especially in my field of sport, wakeskating (skateboarding on the water). I would like to learn some things about this camera. I do all the videography for the college wake team and all the editing (FCP pro) what settings do I use if i am shooting SD reg quality? is that 720/ 24p, 30p, or 60p? Please help. Thanks

I'm glad I came across this.. I have a noob question, are we still able to use our feature on the camcorder such as, Zooming in and out? I saw your video using manual focus and exposure but haven't seen any video of yours or other using a 35mm adapter using zoom in and out on the camcorder. By the way, my camera is Sony hdrxr-520

If you take off the plastic around the LCD and pop a magnet on the exposed metal, that will flip the camera right side up. To flip it where left is left and right is right there is a small slit where a rail from the LCD slides in and out of. Push a toothpick in that slot and WAMO... You are now seeing everything the way it should be. Hope this help someone.

that video looks fine to me. the jag35 requires more light than the letus adapters. try using a tripod or slider for that effect. you cannot clean the adapter, make sure the ground glass is vibrating (motor on!)

when using a tripod pan left to right very slow with something close to the camera lens. this foreground will give the illusion of a dolly move.

if you get the jag35 pro, i recommend a nikon or canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens as a good place to start.

I have a jag35 mounted to my canon hv30. the images seem sort of dirty to me. See a sample here. http://www.vimeo.com/11035591

Is there something i can do to clean the adapter?

Also, I see you are using a tripod in the video above, but how do you get the sliding left to right effect?

Thanks, Thor
