Photo GalleryWelcome to my digital photo gallery. I do not own a real digital SLR camera (UPDATE: yea, now I have the Canon 5Dmk2, expect more photos soon!). All of these pictures were taken with a $150 Kodak V705 point and shoot digital camera. I used the macro feature and flash to achieve the lighting and depth of field effects. My thoughts on picture taking are, use what you have for gear…and look around you. A good eye is always better than good gear.

Where is the shot of the grease pit?
@Guess Who:
I should post a pic of lake “guess who”.
it was a real shame the day they pulled the grease pit out of the compound and that lake dried up. at least the black stain on the pavement will always remind us.
by the way, when are we signing the paperwork and starting our grease business?
Most excellent photos. You show the divide between amateur and professional. Thanks for the views. I’ll visit again sometime.
@QueenRosary:
Thanks, I hope to get back out to shoot more digital stills. Right now, I am so into the shallow depth of field on my Letus Extreme that I seem to travel with my Sony EX1 camcorder much more often!
Excellent photos! Goes to show you don’t need super expensive equipment to produce professional looking shots!
Very cool! My personal top faves are Fire & Ice # 13 and 17, Cold sunset #4 and 8, Plymouth # 3. Unique use of camera angles and attention to lighting set these off to perfection! Nice job! Funny, I never knew you did any B&W work.
(P.S. Like the dude in Plymouth #4!)
