Wild SoundI am posting some wild sounds that I have recorded in different places. I recorded all these sounds with a Zoom h4 portable solid state stereo recorder. See my blog for a detailed review of this handy and inexpensive device.

Hey Tom, did you use any external mics, or just the stereo mics that come with the Zoom? thanks.
so far, i mostly just use the internal zoom mics. they sound great!
Man, the sound quality of the Zoom is spectacular, coming from an Audio background, I can’t believe the sound!
the newer zoom h4n is worth its weight in gold. i highly recommend it for all your audio recording needs.
Hi Tom! There is a recording issue with the H4n you should know about. If you use 4-track recording mode with internal batteries and phantom power supplied to the XLR inputs there can be noise in the tracks! Found this one out the hard way. Anyway, I hope you are doing well!
thanks for the note. great to hear from you victor! hope we get to work w/ each other again sometime!
I’m using the zoom on a film I am doing this summer and the audio is amazing. With the internal mics and 2 booms going in the plan is to fake surround sound in post. Great product.
