Tom is a Boston based director of photography and camera operator who has worked in the visual story telling business for over 20 years. He has won multiple regional Emmy awards, shot content around the world, worked with teams of talented professionals and produced a viral video with millions of views. Tom began his career as a sports television camera operator and has shot over 1500 Red Sox games since 1997 and countless other professional sports. Tom is an owner/operator of specialized equipment including a Phantom Flex slow motion camera system and a 4k Sony Cine-Alta digital cinema camera.  He currently has shifted his career to television commercial work, special projects and short-form documentary storytelling. He loves working outdoors, shooting in extreme environments and getting creative to capture the impossible shot. Tom takes pride in learning new television techniques using unique equipment, such as motion control time-lapse, gimbals and drones, to help engage the viewer and craft the story.
